The Animal

This is about wimpy Marvin, who always wanted to be a cop but did not have what is required to fulfil his lifelong dream. A deranged scientist secretly uses animal organs to re-structure his body organs, after Marvin is critically injured in a car accident. Marvin feels energised and powerful. His weakness is replaced by strength and he achieves instant fame as a super cop. For Marvin life is going great with his new found hero status, but soon he discovers that his animal instincts have started taking over his body at all the wrong times.

Jeff Bridges and Sally Field star in this quirky, sensitive drama about a wealthy Southern bachelor who learns that money and charm have their limitations.

Nutcracker: The Motion Picture

The colourful classic is brought to the big screen, designed by famed children’s story author and artist Maurice Sendak, and written for the first time to be as close as possible to the original story.

A lavish, exciting and heart-warming celebration of dance, music and life, it is based on the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s original production.

Raja (Akshay Kumar) dreams of becoming rich but is not ready to work hard for it. His uncle, an astrologer, encourages him by saying he will soon find a rich woman who will marry him, thus realising his dreams.

When Raja meets Shalu (Juhi Chawla), he is convinced she is the woman for him. She is the only child of multimillionaire Badrinath (Kader Khan). She falls in love with Raja and they plan to get married. But will Badrinath agree to the match?

The Dirty Picture

Reshma (Vidya Balan) works as an extra in the movies. Gradually, she rises to the top and becomes a successful actress and transforms into ‘Silk.’ But along the way, she suffers various heart breaks. Also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi.

Zanjeer

Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) is an honest police officer. He is framed in a case and jailed for six months, thanks to gang leader Teja (Ajit). Vijay can’t wait to get out of jail to take revenge on Teja. Once he is released, Vijay finds out that Teja is the man who had murdered his parents years ago. Sher Khan (Pran) is a close friend of Vijay who helps him nail the villain. Jaya Bhaduri plays the female lead.
