Kochi: Tata Teleservices Limited, dual-technology telecom service provider, has announced the launch of a Pay Per Call product under its CDMA brand Tata Indicom. The plan breaks free from the usual pulse of one minute, charging subscribers a fixed charge on a per-call basis — at Re. 1 for all local calls and Rs. 3 for STD calls — regardless of the call duration. SMS will be offered at 50 paise for both national and local messages. The offer is valid on all calls made by Tata Indicom subscribers to any mobile phone or land line connection, on any network, says a press release. — Special Correspondent

KOCHI: South Indian Bank (SIB) has announced a festival offer of Housing Loan named “SIB Shelter” offering low interest rate fixed for the first three years. The scheme will be applicable for owning a ready built house or to construct a house in own land or to purchase a ready-to-occupy flat anywhere in India. The interest rates under the new scheme will be 8.50 per cent fixed per annum for the first 18 months and 9.50 per cent fixed per annum for the following 18 months, said V.A.
