CHENNAI: Shriram EPC, a leading provider of integrated design, engineering, procure- ment, construction and project management services, has reported net sales of Rs. 918.77 crore in the year ended March 31, 2009 against Rs. 646.30 crore in the previous year. The net profit stood at Rs. 40.02 crore against Rs. 35.40 crore.
The directors have recommended a dividend of Rs. 1.20 per share on the face value of Rs. 10.
The consolidated turnover of the company has crossed the Rs. 1,000 crore mark. The revenues during the last quarter were driven by strong traction in the process and metallurgy vertical, commissioning of two units of a biomass power plant for Lakshmi Energy and the contribution from municipal services in water management and distribution and pipe rehabilitation. The company has commenced operations at its integrated wind turbine manufacturing facility in Gummidipoondi, near Chennai.
