Rupee ends higher against $

MUMBAI: The rupee continued its upward march for the second consecutive day on Friday and ended at one-month high of 44.11/12 against the U.S. currency on exporters dollar sales amid easing global crude oil prices.

In active trading at the interbank foreign exchange market, the Indian unit resumed strong at 44.16/18 a dollar against Thursday's close of 44.19/20 a dollar.

It later fluctuated in a range of 44.10 and 44.22 and finally ended higher by eight paise at 44.11/12. PTI
