The company plans to hire 26,000 employees in the next fiscal through campus interviews for which about 18,000 offers have already been made. “We plan to complete the process by the first week of next month. Last year, we made 20,000 offers of which 73 per cent (about 14,600) joined us. The lateral hiring was a record high and employee referrals are at an all time high of 61 per cent,” said Head-HRD and Education and Research T. V. Mohandas Pai. The average wage hike in the industry could be around 8-10 per cent this year, he indicated.
