COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore chapters of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India organised an orientation programme on MCA-21 here recently. According to a release, the programme covered electronic filing of forms and returns to be filed with the Ministry of Company Affairs. The programme was inaugurated by P. Rajagopalan, Registrar of Companies, Coimbatore, and V. Selvaraj, Deputy Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Nimesh Mittal and Lovneesh Chanana of Tata Consultancy Services spoke about the initiatives taken by the Ministry to make the MCA-21 e-filing process user friendly. About 250 professionals participated in the programme.
