NEW DELHI: The Union Government has categorically stated that there will be no review of the decision to reject the price of natural gas proposed to be sold by the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) to Reliance Natural Resources Limited of the Anil Ambani group. Petroleum Minister Murli Deora told reporters that "there will be no review of the decision.'' He said if the price proposed by RIL was allowed, the Government would suffer huge losses. He was responding to queries about Anil Ambani's statement on Sunday on the Government having taken a premature decision.

He said that ever since joining the Government, he had been hearing about disputes within the Ambani family. Stressing that the Ministry had already made its position clear on the issue, he said it was not its role to settle their (Ambanis) matters.
