CHENNAI: India's leading advertising agency, LOWE was the big winner with 11 awards at the prestigious EFFIE International Awards organised by the Advertising Club, Bombay.
Presented on Friday last, the EFFIE's are the only awards in the industry that honour effectiveness in advertising and focussing on what the client has derived from the agency.
The LOWE ideology of working towards their client's best interests, with exceptional creativity and integrity won the advertising agency nine awards in four of the seven categories with one gold, five silvers and three bronzes in addition to the Grand EFFIE for the Lifebuoy (Little Gandhi) campaign and The Agency of the Year award.

This year 79 entries were submitted at EFFIE 2006, of which 38 were short listed for the awards in 16 categories.
