CHENNAI: Lakshmi Vilas Bank has achieved the targets fixed for 2005-06 under deposits and advances. As per provisional figures, the bank's business crossed Rs. 7,300 crore as on March 31, 2006, from Rs. 5,800 crore in the previous year, a growth of 25 per cent. Deposits have grown by 24 per cent to Rs. 4,337 crore from Rs. 3,497, while advances increased to Rs. 3,044 crore from Rs. 2,450 crore, the bank said in a release.
