Clariant Chemicals (India), on Wednesday, said its parent firm Clariant International plans to sell the leather services business to Stahl Holdings BV for an undisclosed sum.

“The proposal to divest its leather service business will be considered by the board, and will be subject to appropriate approvals, as may be required under Companies Act, 2013,” Clariant Chemicals (India) said in a filing to BSE. Stahl Holdings BV is a is a Dutch company providing high quality chemicals, dyes and coatings for leather and other applications, and is a member of France-based Wendel Group. — PTI
