  • Digital Towers to be constructed in Kakkanad will have 150 flats

Kochi: Asset Homes on Thursday launched nine mega projects worth Rs.125 crore for constructing 403 flats, 55 villas and 42 close relation groups (CRG) homes.

Talking to presspersons, Asset Homes director K.A. Mohammed Saleem said these flats would be constructed in and around Kochi and would have international facilities. These flats would be a blend of technology and sentiments, he claimed.

These homes would be in the range of Rs.15 lakh to Rs.85 lakh. Kerala's truly digital homes were the specialty of the project.

Digital Towers to be constructed in Kakkanad would have 150 flats. The digital homes with the most sophisticated digital features, including bio-metric doors which operate by sensing finger prints, wi-fi network, automated gate operating systems, digital lockers, VOIP phones, camera controlled digital alarm security systems and video door phones were unique to the project, Mr. Saleem said.

For the first time in the country, Asset Homes would construct CRG homes and would be offered exclusively to close-knit groups.

Premium locations, faster completion, customised features and less maintenance cost were the main attractions of CRG homes, he said.

A press release claimed that the flats would be eco-friendly with eco-features, including most modern waste management systems, rain water storage, water recycling systems, herbal gardens, green space, three-lane jogging track, etc.

Asset Homes would be built with community-friendly amenities, including swimming pools, volleyball, squash, table tennis, caroms, chess and other indoor game sports. Dance plaza, band stand, beauty parlours, toddlers park, amphi-theatre, television, 24-hour maintenance on call, senior citizens' lobby, roof garden, library, fountains, automatic repellent systems, etc. were the other attractions of these homes.

Flats would be constructed at Thripunithura, Edapally, Kakkanad, and Maradu in the first phase.

The exclusive villa project would be at Edappally. CRG Homes would be constructed at Eroor, Edappally and Kowdiar.

K.A. Mohammed Saleem (previously Chief Operating Officer of BPL Mobile), V. Sunil Kumar (founder director of Shanthi Homes) and Anil Varma (owner of Varma Constructions) are the promoters of Asset Homes.
