BANGALORE: Firefox Bikes on Friday launched 35 models of premium international bikes in Bangalore and has plans of expanding its franchisee network by the year-end to 28 across the country. Designed in the U.K. and manufactured in Taiwan/China, these bikes, which have features such as lightweight alloy frame, hi-tech Shimano gears, disc brakes, and dual suspension, will hit the Indian market aggressively. Firefox Managing Director, Shiv Inder Singh, said that this year the company would sell 2,000 units and the next financial year it would touch 5,000. The bikes are priced from Rs. 2,900 for kids to Rs. 23,000 for the top-end adult model.
