CHENNAI: In terms of the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, Albert Tauro took charge as Executive Director of Central Bank of India on June 6. Mr. Tauro joined Canara Bank in 1975 and became a Certified Associate of Institute of Banking and Finance (Mumbai). During his long tenure, he has held various assignments in the bank. He also had a stint in the Reserve Bank of India during 1971-75, says a bank release.
