Amara Raja Batteries has announced a top line growth of 20 per cent for 2010-11, recording a net revenue of Rs.1,761 crore (excluding other income) as compared to Rs.1,464 crore in the previous year. The net profit stood at Rs. 148.10 crore against Rs. 167 crore. The company has declared a dividend of Rs. 2.60 per share (face value Rs. 2). The proposed dividend is over and above the “One Time special dividend” of Rs. 2 declared and paid in February, to coincide with the silver jubilee year of the company.
