HYDERABAD:The professional college managements have withdrawn their proposed closure of college from May 26 following an assurance from the government about fee reimbursement.
The decision was taken after a meeting between the college managements and APSCHE Chairman K.C. Reddy and Principal Secretary (Higher Education) C.R. Biswal here on Monday.
In a joint press conference, Mr. Reddy said that the government would give Rs.500 crore by May-end and another Rs.500 crore by the end of June.
The remaining amount would be given later after collecting the information on the exact number of beneficiaries under the fee reimbursement scheme.
