Normal life is likely to be affected in the State capital in view of unprecedented security arrangements being made by the police to thwart the ‘Million March' called by the Telangana JAC on Thursday. Almost the entire city's core area comprising the central zone is being sealed with traffic restrictions.

Anxiety levels have gone up among students taking Intermediate II year, CBSE and ICSE exams on Thursday. Police, however, assured that students and their parents would be allowed to reach their exam centres after verification of hall tickets. Students were advised to start early to reach exam centres. Employees going to their office must carry identity cards.
Most educational institutions have declared a holiday on Thursday. DCP Akun Sabharwal said that some leaders would be taken into preventive custody. T-JAC convenor M. Kodandaram has appealed to the police to remove all the barricades.
