Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned on Monday after Opposition members repeatedly disrupted the proceedings over several issues.

The presiding officers of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, who adjourned the Houses twice in the morning, adjourned them for the day post-lunch as they could not restore order.

Members of BSP, BJP, TDP, TMC, AIADMK, DMK, CPI and CPI (M) moved to the well of the Houses, protesting over the JPC report on the 2G scam, death of children in Muzaffarnagar relief camps, the Sri Lanka Tamils issue, the Sarada chit fund scam and price rise.
