A 23-year-old man of Indian-origin died of a stab wound, following which the police charged two persons for murder.

Das was rushed to a walk-in treatment centre in Loughborough at around 2.45 am on July 26, but he succumbed to his injury. Andrew Smith, 38, and Elaine Pendery, 45, were produced in the Magistrate's court on Friday on charge of murder.
They were remanded to custody, and are will before the Leicester Crown Court.
Tributes have poured in following Das' killing.
Das' parents said: “Nitu was a dearly loved son who will be deeply missed. This is a very hard time for my family and I would like to thank all of those who have and are continuing to support us”. — PTI
