The State government is planning another visit of Cabinet Ministers to New Delhi to take up clearance of developmental projects and other matters with the Central government.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has asked all the Ministers of his Cabinet to book tickets for a Delhi trip on November 17.

However, it would not be compulsory for everyone to go.

Ministers who have projects needing clearance at hand or having issues to be taken up with Central Ministers could go if they get necessary appointments with Central Ministers and others.

The Ministers are only in the process of deciding on the trip and issues that need to be taken up directly with Central Ministers and officials.

Their final decision would also depend on the ongoing correspondence with the Central government and paper work that could be completed before the scheduled date.

As the Chief Minister and the Ministers could not meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee during their last visit, they would try to fix up appointments with both of them.

As per the present plan, the Ministers are to be in Delhi on November 17 and 18.
