Cooking gas price went up by over Rs.11 a cylinder after the Centre decided on Saturday to increase the distributors' commission. In Chennai, a subsidised cylinder will now cost Rs.398 (Rs. 386.50), a non-subsidised domestic cylinder Rs.890 and refills to exempted category users Rs.1,227.50 each.
