35 passports recovered after interrogation, court told

NEW DELHI: A court here was informed on Monday that at least 35 passports were recovered after the interrogation of Bharatiya Janata Party MP, Babubhai Katara, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in human trafficking early this month.

The court remanded him to judicial custody till May 4.

The investigating officer of the Delhi Police Crime Branch told Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau that of the 35 passports, six belonged to the MP and his family members.
