The Italian vessel Enrica Lexie that was brought to the Cochin Oil Terminal after being detained for killing two Indian fishermen, would be moved to the outer harbour. This follows the arrest of two marines of the Italian Navy here on Sunday, on the charge of gunning down the fishermen.

Causes disruption

The ship berthed at the terminal was causing disruption of business to the Kochi Refinery Limited. While at the outer harbour, the ship will be monitored by the Coast Guard and the port authorities, to ensure that it does not give the slip.
