The Indian Air Force plans to set up an engineering college in Bangalore.

Air Marshal Rajinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, told The Hindu here on Wednesday: “The best thing about Bangalore is that it has several institutions related to aeronautical engineering, avionics and spaces sciences. Specialists from HAL, NAL and other institutions can visit the proposed engineering college to give lectures. Most of our aircrafts are being developed or built by HAL and NAL. Our students can have a firsthand experience of all those processes.”
