The results of the Common Entrance Test (CET), the qualifying examination for entry to professional engineering, medical and dental degree courses in the State, will be out on Monday.

In a press release, the Karnataka Examinations Authority said that the results would be released after 11 a.m. and would be published in all the 235 centres across the State where the test was conducted.

Students may also check their results by logging on to the official websites, www.cet.kar.nic, www.karresults.nic.in and www.kea.kar.nic.in. However, the websites will publish results only after 1 p.m. Other websites that will publish the results are www.indiaresults.com, www.examresults.net, www.karnatakaeducation.net, www.educationgateway.co.in, www.schools9.com, www.educhoice.org, www.results.karnatakaeducation.net and www.bangaloreeducation.com To check your results via SMS, send ‘RESULT CET registration number to 56263. BSNL users can obtain their rank through IVRS by calling 1255596 and those on other networks can call 505101096.

Fees

Meanwhile, uncertainty prevails over the fixing of fees for government quota seats in private colleges. Managements are refusing to accept the Government's prescribed fee of Rs. 32,500 for engineering colleges, and Rs. 35,000 for those located in Bangalore.
