The Cabinet sub-committee which studied all aspects of sand mining has deferred its decision on the new policy framework after a meeting here on Sunday.
The decision would now be announced in three days in consultation with Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, said the committee chairperson and Mines and Geology Minister Galla Aruna Kumari. She told a press conference after the meeting that the policy could not be finalised in the absence of three of the seven Ministers of the panel .
