The AP Public Service Commission has postponed the Group-I Main examination scheduled to commence from September 3 in the wake of ‘objections’ to certain answers in the key released for preliminary examination. The commission rescheduled the Main examination from September 16.

APPSC Secretary Poonam Malakondaiah said the commission had examined the objections and released the final key, already made available on its website. Based on the final key, another 1,201 candidates were declared qualified to appear for the Main examination in addition to 16,426 candidates already qualified. They could download their hall-tickets from 5 pm onwards on September 5. The number of vacancies is 314.

According to the rescheduled time-table, examination in English paper would be held on September 16 followed by Paper–I on September 18, Paper-II on September 20, Paper–III on September 22, Paper–IV on September 24 and Paper–V September 26.
