Vice-Presidential poll on August 7

The Vice-Presidential poll, if necessary, will be held on August 7. The notification will be issued on July 6, the Election Commission announced on Tuesday. The poll will be held between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 7 and counting will be taken up the same day at 6 p.m. The last day for filing of nomination is July 20 and on July 21 the papers will be scrutinised. July 23 is the last date for withdrawals. — Special Correspondent
