SIT to probe murder case

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by S. Gopinathan, Inspector-General of Police, Thrissur Range, has been constituted to probe the Areekode murder case.

An order issued by the State Police Chief on Tuesday said the investigation team comprised M.P. Dinesh, District Police Chief, Palakkad; K. Sethu Raman, District Police Chief, Malappuram; M.P. Mohanachandran Nair, Dy.SP, Narcotic Cell, Malappuram; S. Abhilash, Dy.SP, Malappuram; K.S. Sudarsan, Dy.SP, Kerala Police Academy, Thrissur; T.B. Vijayan, Circle Inspector (CI), Malappuram; Assinar, CI, Kondotty; and A. Umesh, CI, Tirurangadi.
