NEW DELHI: Two middle-aged women were found murdered, with their hands and legs tied up, in their rented accommodation at Madhu Vihar in East Delhi on Tuesday. The police suspect involvement of three men and a woman who had come to meet the two on Monday night.

The police received a phone call on Tuesday morning claiming that two women, Premlata Choudhary (55) and Nisha alias Saroj Sharma (45), had been murdered in their house at Madhu Vihar in Mandawali. The bodies were first discovered by their driver Kishan Pal. Circumstantial evidence indicated that the culprits first tied up the hands and legs of the victims and then strangled them.

During questioning by the police, Kishan purportedly said that three men and a woman had come to meet Premlata and Nisha on Monday evening. All of them consumed liquor till late at night after which the visitors overpowered Kishan, tied up his hands and legs, and bundled him into a room. Kishan claimed he had no idea what happened after that.
