Bangalore: The Common Entrance Test Cell has announced that CET 2006 will be held at 186 examination centres in the State on May 9 and May 10. Of the 88,721 candidates appearing for the test, 26,064 will take the examination at 49 centres in Bangalore and 62,657 at 137 centres in the districts.
The aptitude test for admission to architecture course will be held on May 12 in 40 examination centres in Bangalore, Belgaum, Gulbarga and Mysore. As many as 30,259 candidates are appearing for this test. Of them, 18,036 will take the test in 24 centres in Bangalore and 12,223 candidates at 16 centres outside Bangalore.
Admission tickets were being dispatched from Monday and they were expected to reach the applicants by April 28, the CET Cell said.
Admission tickets for Karnataka candidates residing outside the State have been dispatched by post. Admission tickets for candidates who have applied through their schools/colleges within the State have also been sent to the institutions, including CBSE/CISCE schools, with a pre-printed computer statement.
Karnataka candidates who have applied through schools and colleges have been asked to collect their admission tickets from their principals on or after April 28.
