Today The Hindu is proud to launch its edition from Kolkata to serve India’s eastern and northeastern region better. Kolkata is our 130-year-old newspaper’s thirteenth printing centre. The new edition printed and published in Kolkata is a first for West Bengal and the whole region. This edition is largely the one that was earlier printed in Delhi for readers in the eastern and northeastern region. There are, of course, appropriate changes on Page 1 and the Sports pages.
The twelve other centres from whichThe Hindu is printed and published are: Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Madurai, Delhi, Visakhapatnam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Vijayawada, Mangalore, and Tiruchirapalli.
Greetings to our readers, old and new.
We greatly value the trust you repose in our newspaper.
