AHMEDABAD: Four persons, including a woman, matching the sketches of alleged terror suspects released by the Mumbai police, were arrested aboard the Golden Temple Express and taken off the train at the Surat station late on Friday night.

The sketches of the three men were released on the basis of descriptions given by a taxi driver.

According to railway police sources, the three men from Uttar Pradesh and a Mumbai woman made contradictory statements. But it was confirmed that the four persons had been in Mumbai for the last seven days and had visited the places mentioned by the taxi driver — the Mahim dargah, the Haji Ali dargah, the Mahalaxmi temple and other sensitive spots.
