HYDERABAD: Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, son of Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has declined the Cabinet's allotment of 487 acres in Kadapa district at Rs.1 lakh per acre for Raghuram Cement Ltd. of which he is a director.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy in a letter to Revenue Minister D. Prasad Rao on Sunday said the cement unit would be set up elsewhere, preferably on private land.

Dr. Reddy at a press conference said his son had informed him about the decision.
