Chennai: In a significant development, the DMK, a key partner of ruling UPA at the Centre, said on Sunday that it would support the Congress line on imposition of President's rule in Uttar Pradesh.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M. Karunanidhi, who held discussions with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the issue, later told PTI over telephone that his party would accept any decision taken by the Congress. "I hope Congress will take a right and good decision," he said. PTI
