New Delhi: Facing action for his role in the Darjeeling land scam, Military Secretary Lt. Gen. Avadesh Prakash on Wednesday proceeded on a 10-day leave, even as the government said Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor would take action against all four senior officers involved in the proposed sale of the civilian estate. Lt. Gen. Prakash, against whom the Army initiated administrative action on Tuesday, went on leave a fortnight ahead of his retirement on January 31, Army officers said here. — PTI
