NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday announced the results of the All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2009.
The test was conducted in two stages — preliminary and final. As many as 1,45,234 candidates registered for the preliminary exam and of them, 13,022 qualified for the final exam held on May 10.
The first round of counselling will start from June 12 by personal appearance in New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.
“The allotment of candidates for medical colleges will be made by the Directorate-General of Health Services at the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare according to the category rank,” said a CBSE release.
The schedule for the first round of counselling and other information is available on www.mohfw.nic.in
Those placed on merit/waitlist should report for allotment of seats as per the information given on the website.

Rank letters are being sent to all successful candidates. Those who had secured an all-India rank up to 150 and single girl child qualified in merit/waitlist are eligible to apply for the CBSE merit scholarship scheme.
