Karnataka's Farah Khan made it three-in-a-row in the National ladies billiards championship in Delhi.

Australian captain Mark Taylor broke his predecessor Allan Border's world record for catches in Tests by a non- wicketkeeper when he held his 157th - Mark Ramprakash off Glenn McGrath - on the fourth day of the fifth and final Test against England in Sydney.

Shiv Sena activists dug up the Kotla pitch in Delhi with the view to preventing the Indo-Pakistan first Test which was to commence from Jan. 28.
