The Martinet Grammar Prize
Here's a chance to go on a two-week English Language Seminar for Teachers of ESL/EFL in Exeter College in Oxford, U.K. next year. Conducted by Oxford University Press, you have to submit an essay "The role of grammar in the modern classroom" 1,000 to 1,500 words. Entries should reach before December 1, 2004.
This two-week course will focus on new developments in the English language and in English language teaching, and top English language teaching specialists will be lecturing. The prize includes the full course programme, accommodation, food and return airfares. You will also enjoy a full social programme, including guided visits to Oxford attractions.
The course will run from July 31 to August 13, 2005. The prize is worth £ 2,410
