Miseries and misfortunes

I woke up at in the morning
And just opened the window
It was a dull, boring day
I had never felt so low
And I went
down the stairs
To have some food and go
Sizzle! Went the layers
Of bacon, eggs and soup
Slurp! Went my soup
But my eggs were
Just too hot
And the soup was
Just too cold
It was just a bad day
All through
I opened the door
To go to work
The road was
Such a muddle
And boys playing
With paper boats
Which go splash! splash! splash!
I closed the door with a jerk
And splash!
I fell into a puddle!
