JUST DESSERTS Pal payasam

It's a treat for those with a sweet tooth as KTDC's Hotel Chaitram, Thampanoor, organises a payasam mela.

A wide variety of payasams such as ada pradamam, pal payasam, palada pradamam and pazha pradaman will be available till September 5.

You can get the payasams in either one-litre or half-a-litre jar for Rs. 120 and Rs. 60 respectively.

A counter, which is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the hotel, offers the various payasams in a cup for Rs. 15.

The hotel on Thiruonam is holding a traditional `Onasadya' priced at Rs. 126 per head. Reservations can be made for the `sadya.'
