Fantasy comes real close

The ghagra collection at `also' offers Indian wear that is traditional as well as contemporary

STYLE WISE An outfit from Karuna's collection

What's a wedding attire without colour, shine and shimmer? And `The Ghagra Collection' at `also' has all that to offer at its stylish best. The collection includes exquisite ghagras, salwars and sarees by designers Karuna Khaitan, Megha Modi, Vinita Passary, Swapan and Seema, Anshu Modi and Kaanch.

For those looking for a perfect wedding dress, there's a lot to choose from clothes with heavy work in stones, sequins, beads, pearls and zari to trendy yet traditional ghagras that can be worn as skirts as well. Choose from an array of colours available in various bright and pastel shades.

But for those who prefer to mix and match their clothes, check out Karuna's collection. Her lehengas, corsets, blouses (in different sizes) and dupattas are priced separately and thus allow you to make your own combinations.

Her elegant black and white collection is a must see as well. The lehengas are priced at Rs. 6, 000 upwards.

Anshu Modi's heavily-embroided ghagra sets with stones has a price range starting from Rs. 15,000 to over a lakh.

There's also a whole range of kurtis, kurtas and skirts available, both for casual and occasion wear and are available from Rs. 800.

Megha Modi's kurtis with chunky shell work is definitely an attention grabber and start from Rs. 3,000 onwards. Also available are some interesting cotton kalamkari pants with embroidery.

The display is on till the Monday, July 31, between 10 a.m and 7 p.m.
