Chill out at Fire

Fire restaurant at The Park has introduced a summer menu

With rain playing truant, and the mercury continuing to soar in Delhi, here is a fresh option for those on the lookout for some good food with less spice.

The Fire restaurant at The Park in Connaught Place has just introduced a new summer menu with some refreshing dishes and desserts.

For the non-vegetarians, it has dishes like Parsi keema masala, subz murg, fish kofta, gosht dum biryani, Marathi crab and coconut curry, chicken bharta, Hyderabadi shikhimpuri kabab to name a few. The vegetarians can choose from a wide variety too. Okra mint masala, Rajasthani gatta curry, wild mushroom and spinach kabab and raw banana kofta are some interesting options.

The hotel's Executive Chef, Bakshis Dean says, "We have used simple spices in all the dishes, keeping in mind the hot summer season, and incorporated Indian sub-continental fare."

For a refreshing starter, one can try out the tandoori fruit chaat garnished with coriander and sesame seeds.

Interesting desserts

To finish your meal, the new menu has an interesting list of desserts like the vermicelli and saffron pilaf with pear and date syrup, sugar-free shahi tukda, chocolate jamun and paan ki rasmalai.
