The mega movie, Lord of The Rings - The Two Towers, will be screened on HBO on December 11 at 8 p.m. The film stars Viggo Mortensen, Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom.

In the second feature of the trilogy, the remaining members of the Fellowship pursue their different paths. Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) and Samwise Gamgee (Astin) continue their long journey to Mordor to cast the One Ring into the fire from where it was forged. They have no choice but to trust the treacherous Gollum to lead them there. Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Legolas (Orlando Bloom), Gimli (Rhys-Davies) and Gandalf The Grey (McKellen) come upon the kingdom of Rohan. Gandalf proceeds to exorcise Saruman's evil power from the body of King Theoden. Pippin and Merry fall into the hands of Treebeard the Ent and the two try to persuade Treebeard to change direction and go towards Saruman's lair at Isengard and destroy him once and for all. Saruman's forces are marching toward Helm's Deep, where valiant forces, both human and Elven, make their last stand. The battle for Middle Earth has begun.
