The show must go on

Big B's illness will not affect `KBC 2'

It goes without saying that Amitabh Bachchan's illness has impinged on many a film producer's shooting schedules.

Among Bachchan's forthcoming films, the shootings of which are have been on hold are N. Chandra's `Abhinetri,' B.R. Chopra's `Babul' and `Ganga.' But one show that will go on despite Big B's present illness is the popular game show on Star Plus, `Kaun Banega Crorepati-2.'

The channel says, it has already canned 60 episodes of `KBC2' as so it needn't worry about its weekend ratings. "These 60 episodes will see us through till December 23," says a channel spokesperson. According to media reports, doctors attending to the veteran actor at Lilavati Hopsital in Mumbai have asked him to stay away from work till December end. In that case, the channel might have to take `KBC2' off air temporarily or resort to repeating old episodes.
