THE CONCEPT of wearable jewellery, especially those designed to look like masterpieces from a different epoch, has encouraged many designers to venture into this field. Amrapali, which showcases its designer range at Elahe, Road No. 2 Banjara Hills, is a chance to discover traditional designs, contemporary chic, fine filigree or intricate settings with the sparkle of semi-precious stones that add glitter to any occasion.
There's a range of necklaces, pendants, bracelets, jhumkas, rings and chains and beautifully handcrafted silver jewellery.
Elahe also presents varied facets of ethnic wear made unique with a sumptuous dash of modern trends. Ritu Seksaria showcases her Fall Winter collection at the store. Visit and be charmed by the regal lehengas, lavish saris, chic salwar kameez, smart kurtis, sleek skirts and a lot more that's highly fashionable.
Seksaria's collection is available on the 4th and 5th of November.
Another designer who is showcasing her work this season is Latha Puttana. `Shrishti' which will be unveiled at `also', White House, Begumpet on the 5th and 6th of November is a stunning range of hand embroidered saris and cholis in silk and georgette and crushed skirt ensembles in cotton kadiwork. Latha who has been designing traditional and western lines uses intricate embroidery, mirror work and sequins.
