A taste of ethnic chic at Fabindia
IN TUNE with the festival of lights Fabindia has come up with an exhibition on lighting. The exhibition opens tomorrow at Ilford House, 3, Woods Road and will be on till November 6. Lamps made of terracotta, cane, sanjhi, wood-tile and resin will be on display. You can also find wooden and cane furniture, mirrors in different finishes, bags, pottery, stoneware, stationery and soaps in different fragrances.
Ethnic weaves and colours in kalamkari and ikkat, both from Andhra Pradesh, are an added attraction.
A complete range of garments in silk and cotton with coordinated dupattas and stoles has been specially made for men and women this festive season. While kurtas in many styles and salwars in vibrant colours comprise the range for women, kurtas with Nehru jackets form the range for men. As for Western wear, there are trousers and skirts for women with shirts to match and casual wear shirts for men.
