Make up secrets Cory Wallia
HE HAD done some of the most beautiful faces on the celluloid as well as on the ramp. But nothing gives him greater joy than making a face in the crowd look gorgeous. And that sure needs more than the popular knowledge of foundations, compacts, eye shadows and lip-glosses, or their availability in different formats and hues.
Make up guru Cory Wallia reveals six make up secrets that go a long way in creating those drop dead gorgeous looks.
--Pre-make up: Go for a cleansing, toning and moisturising routine before applying the makeup. It serves as a protective and primer base for make up.
--Foundation: Choose a shade that is as close to your natural skin tone so that blending is flawless.
--Eye perfect: Shape eyebrows proportionate to the face maintaining a natural arch; groom eye lashes curl before applying mascara.
--La rouge: Blush gives a healthy look to the skin robbed by foundation and compact. Place the brush along cheekbone; blend parallel to the jaw line.
--Lip lustre: Outline and fill in lips with lip liner in a shade that is close to the lip colour.
Apply lipstick. Tap lightly with compact powder. Apply another coat.
--Make up care: Clean make up brushes and sponges once a week with mild shampoo and lukewarm water. Air dry. Check your cosmetics periodically. Discard them if you notice an unpleasant odour.
