Mohanlal keeps his word

MURALI NAGAVALLY, a long time associate of Priyadarshan, is making his debut as director with "Wanted" in Malayalam. Priyadarshan has written the screenplay and dialogue for the film and art director Sabu Cyril and music director Deepan Chatterji are also lending their weight to the project. "Wanted" has newcomers such as Madhu Warrier, Nishanth Sagar, Aravind, Anniyappan and Suchitha in the cast. The story is about four unemployed youth who take to crime and plan a heist that goes awry. The highlight of the film is superstar Mohanlal doing a cameo as Narayana Swamy IPS, an investigation officer who brings the erring youngsters to justice. Said Mohanlal: "Many years back, I had promised Murali that I would do a role in his film when he turns an independent director. And after "Company", I am once again donning the role of a police officer."n
