Vanishing act


"GAYAB", PRODUCED by Ramgopal Varma and directed by Prawaal Raman, is turning out to be one of the hottest films in the trade even before its release. The buzz is that Tusshar Kapoor could emerge as a future star with "Gayab" where he does the disappearing act a la "Hollowman"! Tusshar plays Vishnu Prasad, a loser in life who lacks self-confidence and is ridiculed by his friends. One day, he reaches breaking point and disappears. Tusshar, after an improved performance in "Khakee", is doing a role which Hrithik Roshan was supposed to do. Tusshar's sister Ekta Kapoor is aggressively promoting the film and MTV, which has recently tied up with her to produce a serial, is also promoting the film every hour on the channel. Last week, a leading Tamil producer grabbed the remake rights for his son.n
