Chinese food fest
THE RESIDENCY is all set to usher in the Chinese New Year (Jan. 22) in an authentic style. Starting today, Chin Chin, the hotel's Chinese restaurant will be holding a ten-day Chinese food festival. Food buffs will be treated to a variety of seafood and other traditional dishes.
To match the mood, the restaurant will have special decorations, music and lucky charms.
The menu will include sumptuous starters such as paper wrapped prawns, crab wanton, crab claws, fried fish fillet topped with Peking sauce, treasure squids etc., besides some vegeterains delights.
The main course will include lobsters, crab, fish, squid and other meat preparations along with rice and noodles. On the vegetarian side there are three treasure tofu, governor's vegetable, mixed vegetable with slit green chillies and cashewnuts and many more rice and noodle preparations.
Those with a sweet tooth can choose from stuffed lychees with choco sauce, fried ice cream, banana pancake with ice cream and other sweet dishes.
